Sephora Grand Opening Scratch Card Promotion Official Rules

The SCRATCH CARD Promotion (“Promotion”) will take place at select Sephora stores (each, a “Store”) during regular store hours on the date(s) indicated, while supplies of scratch cards (“Scratch Card”) for the applicable Store lasts (“Promotion Period”). Who may participate: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are at least 13 years of age. An eligible minor should have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate. Employees, officers and directors, their immediate family members (spouse, siblings, children and parents, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of Sephora USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, printers, advertising and promotion agencies and those associated with the development, implementation or execution of this Promotion are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited.

How to Play: During the Promotion Period, you can receive one (1) scratch card, while supplies last, from a Store Associate. Scratch card is void if not scratched and redeemed in-store on the day it is received. Limit one (1) Scratch Card per person per day, regardless of method of obtaining Scratch Card.

How to Redeem: Present the original Scratch Card to a Store Associate. Scratch Card must be redeemed at the time it is received or Scratch Card will be void. All Scratch Cards are subject to verification.

Prizes: Grand Prize (1): $100 Sephora Gift Card. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $100. Odds of winning the Grand Prize: 1:881. First Prize (10): $50 Sephora Gift Card. ARV: $50 each. Odds of winning a First Prize: 1:81. Second Prize (100): Sephora Limited Edition Makeup Bag. ARV: $30 each. Odds of winning a Second Prize: 1:8.8. Third Prize (70): $20 Sephora Gift Card. ARV: $20 each. Odds of winning a Third Prize: 1:12.6. Fourth Prize (700): A Sephora Collection Favorite as indicated on Scratch Card. ARV: $4-$15 each, Odds of winning a Fourth Prize: 1:26. Maximum Total ARV of all prizes: $10,500. Terms and conditions apply to use of gift cards. Prizes are provided “as-is” without any warranties or guarantees. Actual prizes are representative only. Actual prizes may differ from products shown. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No substitutions or cash redemptions except in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Winners are responsible for any applicable fees, federal, state and/or local taxes, and any other unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of a prize. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All prize details, including type and color, will be determined by Sponsor. Limit one (1) prize per person per day.

General: Scratch Card is void if not obtained from authorized and legitimate channels, or if the Scratch Card is, in whole or in part, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error or obtained via fraud or theft. Released Parties (as defined below) are not liable for printer errors or issuance of any void, misprinted, or irregular Scratch Card resulting from production or packaging problems or errors. Liability for an irregular Scratch Card is limited to providing another Scratch Card, while supplies last, subject to verification of original Scratch Card irregularity. In the event production, seeding, printing, human or other errors cause more than stated number of prizes to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award the stated number of prizes by random drawing from among all eligible claimants who submitted legitimately received valid Scratch Cards. In no event will Sponsor be liable for awarding more than the stated number of prizes.

Released Parties are not responsible for errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the announcement of the prizes, the processing of prize claims, or in any Promotion-related materials. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person found or suspected of tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person and void all Scratch Cards. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion if, it determines that the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which Sponsor deems could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of this Promotion.

By participating, you (and, if an eligible minor, your parent or legal guardian) (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects, and (ii) waive and release, and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, media partners, printers, and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that you may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death, and /or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from your acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or your participation in this Promotion (including any travel-related thereto).
